This volume publishes almost 200 inscriptions dating from the reign of the emperor Julian (355-363). In each case the full text is transcribed, translated into German, dated and briefly discussed. The corpus is preceded by a discussion of the location of the inscriptions, which have been found across the entire empire from Asia Minor to Britain, their chronology, their function (including statue bases, altars, milestones and seals), and what they reveal about Julian's imperial, religious or military power.
