Shannon is a snotty brat. Arrogant and haughty, she really thinks she knows everything, so when Owen says that he’s studied hypnosis, right away she insists it’s dumb. No way. Something like hypnosis can't be real. It's just a stupid idea, she insists. It’s a bunch of junk designed to get desperate people to part with their money. Rather than get offended, Owen instead offers her a little challenge. If she’s so certain hypnosis is fake, she should let him try. Cocky as always, Shannon accepts because she knows she’ll win.

Owen and Shannon find an empty room where she quickly falls under his influence. He uses the most advanced techniques to relax and entrance her. With her so pliant, he decides to have some fun with this girl. As he works, he implants a variety of commands in her subconscious. She won’t remember them, which will make her eventual transformation so much more fun.

The next morning, Shannon wakes up uncertain of what happened. Her memories are blurry, but she heads off to work anyway. When Owen shows up at her office, he demonstrates just what hypnosis can really do. This time she’s perfectly aware of everything that happens around her...and to her. Shannon will regret being such a brat.
